KOSS KPH30i Review. The KOSS KPH30i is a small, lightweight portable headphone with a retro design inspired by the original Koss KTXPro1/Pro35 models. The price is $29.99. Disclaimer: The KOSS KPH30i sent to us is paid for and not a sample in exchange for our honest opinion. The KOSS KPH30i was recently promoted via Drop and you can find more ksc75 : 30 dollars. koss porta pros : 50 dollars. koss kph30i : 54 dollars. imybudget allws me to buy any 1 of them but the ksc75 are much more cheaper and if they sound better or about as good as the other 2 i would love to be buy them and save some money. It’s the Porta Pro, KPH30i and KSC75 that seem to get all the attention of the Koss headphones with the 60 ohm drivers. Ain’t nobody talking about the KTXPro1, even while it has the titanium coated driver like the praised KSC75! : (. Seriously though, these headphones are wonky. I bought these only because they were the cheapest Koss 60 ohm In 1984 The Koss Porta Pro's were simply designed to be an upgraded portable open ear phone that replaced the relatively poor sounding earphones that came included with one's Walkman, or Walkman clone. Yet in doing so, Koss created a legend. Not only were Porta Pro's ridiculously comfortable, but they sounded great as well. 11. My brother just got a pair of KTXPro-1s. They use the same driver as the Porta Pro so I just did a quick comparison and here's the results: The PortaPro is more comfortable but asthetics are a tossup. The PortaPro is more nasally in the mids and a less boomy bass, but the KTXPro-1 is less refined in the high end and has some sort of . I've tried some headphones XM2, DT550, K371-BT, various in-ears (sony, degauss), but always fall back to my Koss Porta Pro Wireless. Do either the parts express headband or get the same headband from the KPH40 or Retrospekt for a better upgrade and you’ll have a hard to beat set of headphones that sound great on anything and really shine with better sources and some amplification. 2. 1999hondaodyssey. Only thing I can think of is a driver swap. Buy a koss porta pro and some yaxi pads. Remove the original drivers from the KSC (just pull driver part away from the clip), remove driver from the porta pro headband too. Put the porta pro drivers onto the ksc clips, throw the yaxi pads on, and you're done. Push them down onto your head a bit so they start to extend, but then pull them back up in the air. 2. Lower them back down onto your head to fine-tune the fit. 3. When taking them off, pull the earcups out to the side of your head, THEN lift the headphones up. Maybe this will help you Porta Pro masochists ;) Koss make great inexpensive portable headphones. The ESP950 were my first Koss, but the KPH30i was my first really inexpensive Koss (couldn't pass them up for $20). Wasn't as impressed with the Porta Pro's until switched over to the Yaxi pads the KPH30i were spectacular stock and my go to portable until the Porta Pros with Yaxi pads.
